Use this state-of-the-art AC- and battery-powered portable tester to verify the digital karat value and gold percentage of gold of any colour, from 6K to 24K, as well as platinum.
The AGT3 is easy to use: After following the two-step calibration process with a GEMORO Gold Calibration Disc (sold separately), just touch the pen to a filed gold or platinum surface, and results are returned within seconds!
Choose between "Fast Test Yellow Mode" for the quickest readings or the high-resolution "Enhanced Mode" that indicates gold value measurements in 1k increments with a general accuracy of +/- 1 karat. The pen probe provides approximately 5,000 tests before it needs to be replaced and can be stored in a built-in compartment when the AGT3 is not being used.
